Project update: Exchange Online email migration

Email migration

The email migration phase of the Exchange Online project is proceeding on target. Library Systems is currently working with the regional campuses and is scheduled to begin working with the Chicago ISR Department in the week of April 24

View the migration schedule for the months of April, May and June in the FAQ.

Thank you to Jill Evans (Urbana), Leslie Wedel (Rockford), and Karen Luna (Rockford) for their work coordinating this project at each regional campus.

Library Systems will reach out to each unit in advance of their scheduled migration to determine whether a single session or one-on-one appointments are the best approach, and to provide support and training materials.

Calendar migration

In May, Library Systems will work with the Library Steering Committee to assemble a Calendar Migration Advisory Group. The calendar migration will take place in July for all Library staff, once all email migrations are complete. We will also review the names of the shared resources, such as room reservations, and edit these as necessary to make them clearer and easier to identify.

Thank you to Danyelle Edwards for keeping this project running smoothly!
