Summer is here and while we are adjusting to new ways of teaching, learning and working, ACCC continues to be here to provide support and guidance to faculty, students and staff.
July’s Tech Talk shares some exciting news, online teaching resources, professional development opportunities, and important announcements.
Welcome Jason Maslanka
Newly-appointed UIC Chief Technology Officer Jason Maslanka is excited to take the lead on bringing innovative IT solutions to campus.
Having spent 17 years working for the UIC community, Jason has led IT and marketing operations as Executive Director of Digital in Student Affairs, where he also created an internal marketing agency serving the division and other campus units, successfully enhancing creative services and revenues.
“We have a lot of work ahead of us and I sincerely believe it will be meaningful and fun. The work we do significantly affects the strategic priorities of this institution, an institution that performs critical research, empowers communities around it, provides healthcare to the city, and so much more.”

UIC Mobile App Decommission
Effective July 15, 2020, the UIC Mobile App and Mobile web resource, m.uic.edu, will be retired and unavailable for download from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. After July 15, if you have the UIC Mobile App installed on your device, it will continue to function but will not be updated.
