|LCLC Weekly Workshop: Audio Editing in Audacity
Week of October 14th-18th
Weekly Workshop: Audio Editing in Audacity. Are you using audio files for a class you teach? Are they too quiet, too loud, too noisy? Are there long stretches of empty air that you want to remove? Do you have chunks of speech that you want to "cut out" or separate from a longer monologue or dialogue? If so, Audacity can help. This is a free audio editing program that you can download in just a couple minutes and immediately start editing your audio files to make them more compact and convenient for use in your language and culture classes. It is easy to use, but packs a ton of features from noise reduction to speed changes (faster/slower) to looping and reversing your audio, which makes Audacity useful for a wide variety of sound editing functions.
Can't make the scheduled workshop times? Email us to set up a meeting at the LCLC or in your office: email@example.com.
